Author of “The Dictator’s Learning Curve: Inside the Global Battle for Democracy,” Dobson delves into the struggle against authoritarian regimes. Previous roles include Washington Bureau Chief at Slate magazine and Managing Editor at Foreign Policy. His writings have appeared in prestigious outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post. Dobson holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and a Master’s in East Asian Studies from Harvard University, graduating summa cum laude from Middlebury College.
